Blue Wooden Home

On this all wood home, the dormers and gables are cedar shingle shakes. The lower walls are horizontal cedar siding. Customer wanted more contrast and color, so we painted all the fascia trim white, and the dormers and gables the blue color. Customer was very happy with the results.

Harbor Springs Mansion

On this mansion near Harbor Springs, we’ve done both interior and exterior work. It’s an older house, so it’s necessary to keep it maintained well. It also has several unique different types of trims and pillars, which are fun to work on, as you don’t see these types of houses all that often anymore.

Wood with Green Trim

This two story house is located on Carp Lake. We stained it with a little darker stain on the lighter walls, to blend with the darker exterior walls. Over time, walls will naturally get darker with time, especially walls that rarely get full sun exposure. To get some color and contrast, customer had us paint window trims hunter green, and the fascia and corner trims white.

University of Michigan Cabinetry

This cabinet work is a cottage on Burt Lake. The couple were both alumni from U of M. Cabinets were clear coated maple cabinets, so as a tribute to their alma mater, had us paint cabinets Michigan blue. Customer’s we’re very pleased with results.

White Cabinetry

This white cabinet job is in a beautiful custom built house in Bay Harbor. Because the customer wanted a spray finish on every wood component of cabinets, including stiles, rails, and refrigerator doors, we had to plastic ceiling, floors, and inside of cabinets. Customer was extremely happy.

Log Home

This log home is on Burt Lake. We use a product that the customer orders from out of state. It works well, as it only needs to be resealed once every 7 - 8 years. Several dormers and roof pitches result in few challenging ladder setups.

Conway Railroad Car

This railroad car is one of the two located in Conway. We painted the entire interior. The customer did a great job of integrating a few modern updates for convenience, while still preserving the historical integrity of the train’s character. We really enjoyed doing this one.

Historical Red School in Brutus

This is the Historic Red School in Brutus. We repainted the interior, the exterior windows, the front porch, and the bell tower.

W.W. Fairbairn and Sons Sign, Alanson MI

We painted the signs on W.W. Fairbairns store over 20 years ago. We anticipate repainting them in 2025

Mackinac City Buildings

These photos are all from Mackinac City, and are the two Signal Stations, the Lighthouse, and the Storage Building for the facility. We painted this about 15 years ago.
